Postnatal Yoga Workshop
- Workshops
- held
- at the Baby Room, Exeter
A postnatal yoga class for mums with an experienced postnatal specialist and yoga teacher, focused on nurturing you in the postnatal period. This 1.5 hour workshop will address areas of the body that may benefit from some gentle recovery, such as pelvic floor and core, with specific techniques, including breath work. We’ll also practise sequences to relieve lower back pain, tight shoulders and strengthen wrists. There will be time after the yoga session to talk about your experience and ask questions related to sleep, carrying and the emotional impact of motherhood over tea and cake. The sessions aren’t specifically for babies (check out my Yoga Babies classes at NikkieHuddart.co.uk for this), but you are very welcome to bring your baby.
Holistic Baby Sleep Workshop
- Workshops
- held
- at The Baby Room, Exeter
In this 1.5 hour workshop, we’ll be tackling a few myths, thinking about how to maximise your sleep within realistic expectations in a way that fits into your life and work with your family’s needs and how you choose to parent your babies.
So often, we have a whole load of expectations of ourselves and our babies based on random advice, something we’ve read or what other babies we know are doing. Little of this is based on actual research.
There will be the chance to submit your questions in advance, follow up materials after the class and the opportunity to email me.
